COOK

The Line Cook will prepare and cook menu items, complete food preparation, maintain a clean and organized workstation, and support the kitchen team during busy service periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, portion standards, and customer orders.
• Set up, stock, and maintain assigned cooking and prep stations.
• Follow food-safety, sanitation, labeling, storage, and temperature-control procedures.
• Keep kitchen equipment, work areas, and storage areas clean and organized.
• Communicate with team members to ensure accurate and timely service.
• Assist with prep, stocking, receiving deliveries, dishwashing, cleaning, and closing duties as needed.
• Report low inventory, food-quality concerns, equipment issues, or safety concerns to management.
• Maintain dependable attendance, a positive attitude, and respectful teamwork.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen, restaurant, deli, café, or food-preparation experience preferred; training may be available for the right candidate.
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and food tickets accurately.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to [35–50] pounds.
• Availability for [days/evenings/weekends/holidays], as needed.
• Food-handler training or certification preferred or required based on company policy.
