We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and self-motivated Food Truck Cook to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food in a fast-paced mobile kitchen environment. Since you will be working directly in a food truck, speed, cleanliness, and adaptability are key!

Key Responsibilities & Job Description

Food Preparation & Cooking: Cook menu items quickly and accurately according to recipes and quality standards during high-volume shifts.

Kitchen Setup & Breakdown: Prepare ingredients (prep work) before service, stock the station, and perform opening/closing cleaning duties.

Food Safety & Hygiene: Maintain strict standards of food safety, proper food handling, temperature logging, and cleanliness within the food truck.

Inventory & Stock Management: Help track ingredient levels and report shortages to keep the truck fully stocked for service.

Equipment Maintenance: Properly operate, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment (griddle, deep fryer, prep tables, ventilation, etc.).

Customer Interaction: Maintain a positive, courteous, and friendly attitude when interacting with customers at the window.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Proven experience as a cook, line cook, or food truck operator preferred.

Certifications: Food Handler Certificate / Food Manager Certification (or willingness to obtain one upon hire).

Skills: Strong knife skills, multitasking ability, and comfort working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, work in a warm/confined food truck space, and lift up to 40 lbs (18 kg).

Reliability & Flexibility: Punctual, flexible schedule (weekends, evenings, and special events), and reliable transportation.
