We are seeking a skilled and dependable Saute/Charbroil Cook to join our culinary team! This position is responsible for preparing steaks, seafood, pasta, chicken, and other menu items while maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency, and presentation. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, has strong cooking fundamentals, and takes pride in delivering exceptional food every shift.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook menu items on both the saute and charbroil stations according to recipes and guest specifications.
• Accurately prepare steaks to requested temperatures while ensuring proper cooking techniques for seafood, poultry, pasta, and other sauteed dishes.
• Maintain consistent food quality, portioning, and presentation standards.
• Coordinate with chefs, expediters, and fellow line cooks to ensure timely ticket execution.
• Keep workstations clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures.
• Assist with station setup, breakdown, inventory, and daily cleaning duties.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a saute, grill, charbroil, or line cook preferred.
• Knowledge of steak temperatures, grilling techniques, saute methods, and food safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and consistency.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Positive attitude with a team-first mindset.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
