Cook

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook food according to menus, recipes, and event requirements.
• Ensure proper portioning, presentation, and quality of all dishes.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Assist in setting up cooking stations and prep areas before and after events or service.
• Monitor inventory of ingredients and kitchen supplies; notify supervisor of shortages.
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of food items to prevent spoilage.
• Assist in loading and preparing food for off-site catering events, as needed.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and workstations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training or TESDA certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a cook, preferably in a catering or food service environment.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Ability to follow recipes, instructions, and time schedules.
• Physically fit; able to stand for long periods and lift heavy pots or containers.
• Team player with good communication and time-management skills.
• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
