Duties

• Prepare and assemble meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Assist in menu planning by suggesting creative and nutritious options that cater to diverse dietary needs
• Handle food safely by following proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
• Support food preparation activities including chopping, cooking, plating, and portioning of ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment to uphold health regulations
• Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service in a timely manner
• Participate in catering events or special meal occasions as needed, ensuring all food safety standards are maintained

Requirements

• Strong background in food industry roles such as restaurant or kitchen experience with a focus on meal preparation and food handling
• Knowledge of menu planning, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience with fine dining or catering is a plus but not required
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
