Cook Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and dietary requirements
• Complete food preparation, portioning, and meal service
• Assist with overseeing and supporting Dietary Aides
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and food preparation areas
• Follow all state and federal food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Follow facility policies, procedures, and dietary standards
• Properly handle and store food according to safety guidelines
• Help ensure meals are prepared and served accurately and on schedule

Cook Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous cooking or dietary experience preferred
• Ability to follow menus, recipes, and dietary instructions
• Reliable and dependable
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Commitment to providing excellent service and care to our residents
