Join EARL, Hawaii's premier fast-casual food destination offering East Coast Subs, Burgers, and Fried Chicken. We are currently hiring a dedicated and skilled Cook/BOH Team Member at our Kakaako location.

Looking for RELIABLE candidates with open availability who live nearby and can cover shifts if needed. This location experiences high volume, so someone who pays attention to accuracy, quality, and can still work quickly and calmly when it gets busy will be the best fit.

Qualifications:

• Basic knife skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Proven experience in the food and beverage industry with a minimum of 6 months to 1 year of BOH (Back of House) experience
• Must be familiar with kitchen equipment (fryer, flat top, makeline, oven, broiler, slicer, chef base)
• Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic nature of a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities:

• Keep line stocked and restocked
• Safely handle raw meat (steak, chicken)
• Cook and assemble all menu items accurately
• Communicate respectfully with prep cooks about needs
• Use heavy machinery (commercial food processor, automatic slicer)
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality, and in a timely fashion
• Clean and sanitize kitchen stations, dishes, utensils
• Follow proper health and safety regulations/protocols

Compensation: Base $20/hr + Tips ($3-5/hr)

*$1/hr increase available for those with Cashier/Expo experience who are willing to do hybrid FOH/BOH
