Duties

• Prepare and serve meals according to established menus and dietary guidelines
• Handle food safely, following all food handling and sanitation protocols
• Participate in food preparation, including cooking, chopping, and assembling dishes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas
• Support catering events and special meal services as needed
• Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers in compliance with safety standards
• Follow all health and safety regulations related to food industry standards

Skills

• Experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles preferred
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
• Proven skills in menu planning and meal assembly
• Experience with cooking burgers or restaurant environments is advantageous
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of food handling regulations and sanitation procedures
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Previous experience in catering, serving, or kitchen operations is highly desirable
