Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items, maintaining high safety and cleanliness standards, and ensuring efficient kitchen operations. This role requires excellent communication with kitchen staff, proper food handling, and adherence to safety protocols to deliver quality meals in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to prepare meals.
• Assist in food preparation tasks, including slicing and cutting using appropriate methods.
• Cook food items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen environment by cleaning workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly.
• Manage food safety by following proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate tasks and ensure smooth workflow.
• Follow safety standards during all stages of food production to prevent accidents and ensure compliance.

Experience

• Previous experience working as a Cook or in a similar culinary role is preferred.
• Knowledge of operating kitchen equipment and food safety regulations is essential.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation are highly valued.

Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
