Job Summary:

As a Cook at Manor Adventure, you'll play a vital role in preparing hearty, nutritious meals for our guests and staff. You’ll be working as part of a supportive catering team in a structured kitchen environment, ensuring all meals are delivered on time, to a high standard, and in line with dietary requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals for large groups (including breakfast, lunch, and dinner)
• Follow menus and portion control guidelines
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen in accordance with food hygiene standards
• Support the Catering Manager in stock control and kitchen organisation
• Cater to specific dietary needs (vegetarian, allergies, etc.)
• Assist with washing up and kitchen cleaning as needed

About You:

• Previous experience in a similar cook or kitchen assistant role (preferred)
• Able to work in a busy, high-volume kitchen environment
• Food hygiene certificate (Level 2 minimum) – or willingness to obtain one
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Able to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings

Working Hours and Pay:

Minimum of 25 hours per week, working with varying shift patterns, including; weekends, evenings and early mornings. During busy peak times, the successful applicant will be required to be flexible/overtime will be available (this will be repaid as time of in lieu).

• Rate of Pay: £14.00 per hour
