Job Overview

As a Cook at Robbinswood' Northcrest Assisted Living Community, you will play an essential role in our culinary team by preparing nutritious meals that cater to the dietary needs of our residents. Your contributions will directly impact the quality of life for our residents, ensuring they receive delicious and healthy food in a caring environment.

Responsibilities & Experience

• Prepare and cook meals according to established dietary guidelines.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Familiarity with food industry safety standards such as proper food. handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with dietary staff for special dietary requests and restrictions.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge.
• Ideal candidate is a kind, caring, empathetic, reliable and honest with a caregiver mentality and the ability to calmly and effectively attend to resident needs.
• Must be able to read, write, carry out directions and work on your feet for 6 to 8 hours per day. Must pass a criminal background check.
