We're looking for a passionate and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team and help deliver quality food experiences that keep our guests coming back.

About the Role

As a Cook, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen, preparing and presenting high-quality meals while maintaining exceptional food safety and hygiene standards. Working alongside a supportive culinary team, you'll contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for hotel guests and local diners alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present dishes in line with established recipes and standards
• Assist with service across breakfast, lunch, dinner and event operations as required
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
• Support stock rotation, inventory management and waste minimisation practices
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements
• Keep kitchen workstations clean, organised and service-ready
• Work collaboratively with chefs and front-of-house team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences

What We're Looking For

Essential

• Previous experience in a commercial kitchen environment
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment
• Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays and evenings
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

Desirable

• Relevant culinary qualification
• Hotel, restaurant or hospitality experience
• Experience working across multiple service periods
