Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes, dietary guidelines, and menu specifications
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, slicers, and other culinary tools
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene by adhering to proper food handling procedures and cleaning protocol.
• Ensure timely service during busy periods
• Manage food inventory levels, properly store ingredients, and monitor expiration dates to minimize waste
• Follow all safety standards in production areas, including proper knife skills and slicing techniques for precision and safety

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service environments, including restaurant or dietary departments
• Strong knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to safety standards in production
• Skilled in operating various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Proficient in knife skills, slicing techniques, and recipe adherence for consistent quality
