Expected hours: 30-40 hours a week

Starting pay is $17. Income subject to raise based on performance.

Responsibilities:

* All kitchen staff is required to perform all tasks in the kitchen, including cleaning, dishwashing, prepping, and cooking. No exceptions. Do not apply if you are not willing to do this*

• Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and recipes provided

• Prepare and cook necessary ingredients for sushi chefs

• Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner

• Follow proper food handling and storage procedures

• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient meal preparation

• Assist in menu planning and recipe development

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or similar setting
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils, including knife skills
• Ability to follow recipes and prepare meals according to dietary restrictions or special requests
• Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work well as part of a team
