Cook

SUMMARY: Prep cook for hot and cold foods in several stadium locations. May involve cooking in public and interacting with clients.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items from posted production lists
• Cook and present menu items to specification
• Adhere to food and workplace safety procedures and maintain an organized work area
• Safely use knives and kitchen equipment to prepare and process foods
• Work in club concession stands, action stations and other stadium food-service locations as needed
• Depending on experience and assigned cook level, independently execute advanced preparations and lead small groups in the preparation and service of event foods
• Some roles may require strict confidentiality
• Complete special projects and assignments as business dictates

Skills And Qualifications

• One to three years of relevant kitchen experience; upscale restaurant or high-volume catering experience is highly preferred
• Culinary degree or certification preferred
• Demonstrate ability in all cooking methods: Grilling to temperature, sautéing, roasting, braising, deep frying, poaching
• Excellent attendance
• Devoted learner

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to stand for long periods of time

• The noise level in the work environment is usually loud
• Kitchen setting
