Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items with attention to detail, following established recipes and standards.
• Assist in meal planning and food presentation to ensure visually appealing dishes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to food safety and handling protocols.
• Support food service operations by efficiently preparing ingredients and managing cooking stations.
• Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, portioning, and waste management.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of meals during busy service periods.
• Follow all health regulations and safety procedures to create a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within restaurants or catering services.
• Knowledge of food handling safety practices and hygiene standards.
• Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques.
• Experience with menu planning, fine dining, or the food industry is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is advantageous.
