Duties

• Assist with menu planning to ensure balanced, appealing meal options that meet dietary needs
• Prepare and cook a variety of foods, demonstrating strong knife skills and culinary techniques
• Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness standards
• Serve meals efficiently while providing friendly, attentive customer service
• Support catering events by preparing and presenting food with precision and flair
• Contribute to food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, plating, and portioning
• Maintain kitchen organization, stock supplies, and ensure all equipment is clean and operational

Requirements

• Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly preferred
• Hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings demonstrating culinary skills
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Experience with menu planning, meal preparation, and catering is advantageous
• Basic understanding of kitchen equipment use, including knives and cooking tools
• Level two background

Pay: $15.00 per hour
