Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and individual client needs
• Ensure all food is prepared and stored in compliance with safety and sanitation standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to accommodate special dietary requirements
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a cook, preferably in healthcare, rehabilitation, or similar settings
• Knowledge of nutrition and dietary restrictions
• Ability to follow recipes and adapt menus based on dietary needs
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude
• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
