About the role

A Cook role responsible for preparing and cooking food according to menu, recipes, and established standards while maintaining quality, taste, and presentation. The role involves working in a busy kitchen environment, managing food preparation, and ensuring all kitchen operations comply with standard operating procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients before kitchen operations begin
• Cook food according to the menu, recipes, and established standards
• Maintain the quality, taste, and presentation of food
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the work area and kitchen equipment
• Check the quality and proper storage of food ingredients
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining the availability of food supplies
• Ensure all kitchen operations are carried out according to SOPs
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations

About you

• Minimum education: High School/Vocational School or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Cook
• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation
• Good understanding of food hygiene, sanitation, and safety
• Able to follow recipes, portion standards, and kitchen SOPs
• Able to work quickly, accurately, and neatly
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
• Able to work effectively in a busy kitchen environment
• Willing to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays
• Disciplined, honest, responsible, and willing to learn
