Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable Cook to prepare and serve quality meals in a clean, organized kitchen. The ideal candidate takes pride in consistent food preparation, follows food safety practices, and works well with others in a fast-paced food service environment. Food service, restaurant, or kitchen experience is welcome; a willingness to learn and follow established procedures is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and meals according to recipes, portion guidelines, and service needs.
• Cook menu items while maintaining consistent quality, presentation, and timing.
• Support meal preparation by organizing ingredients, equipment, and workstations.
• Assist with serving food and maintaining a courteous, efficient service experience.
• Follow food handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures, including proper storage and temperature practices.
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Monitor ingredient supplies and communicate when items need replenishing.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and service team members during busy periods.

Skills

• Cooking and food preparation skills, including meal preparation.
• Knowledge of safe food handling and food safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
• Food service experience is helpful.
• Restaurant experience, kitchen experience, or experience in the food industry is a plus.

Pay: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 44.0 per week
