Roxbury is recruiting for a full-time Cook to work in our Dietary Department.

The hours are between 6 am and 6 pm with every other weekend rotation.

Roxbury Treatment Center, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services, Inc., has been a beacon of hope and healing for 40 years, serving those struggling with behavioral health and substance use issues. Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Job Duties and Responsibilities of a Cook:

• Prepares food and dessert items according to standard recipes.
• Must have knowledge of the menu and products used in the dietary department.
• Serves meals to patients, staff and visitors in a courteous manner with consideration to dietary needs.
• Maintains and cleans assigned areas including kitchen, dining rooms, storage and receiving areas in a clean, orderly and attractive condition providing a suitable environment for patients and staff.
• Assists in ordering of supplies and food products and completes weekly inventory of items.

Cook Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ServeSafe certification is preferred. This training will be offered if the employee is not already ServeSafe certified.
• Valid Drivers License with a safe driving record
