About the role
A casual Authentic Korean restaurant is looking for a proactive Cook / Kitchen Assistant to join a brand-new kitchen team.
Key responsibilities
- Wash, peel, chop ingredients, and assemble components for Korean dishes
- Clean cooking equipment, wash dishes, and maintain overall kitchen cleanliness
- Receive daily stock deliveries, label ingredients, and ensure proper food rotation (FIFO)
- Dispose of waste and follow basic kitchen safety guidelines
About you
- Fast learner, dependable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Prior F&B experience is a bonus, but beginners with a positive attitude are welcome
- Valid WSQ Basic Food Hygiene Course (preferred)
- Able to stand for long shifts and handle light lifting
- Able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays
