About the role

Manages the preparation and production of all food items to be served based on the store's menu and recipes and ensures that all items are available at all times. Maintains the high quality of food served in the branch and ensures all cooked food is prepared in adherence to the strictest rules of food safety and hygiene.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and produce all food items according to store menu and recipes
• Maintain high quality of food served
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen to eradicate pests and cockroaches
• Ensure all cooked food is prepared in adherence to food safety and hygiene rules
• Ensure all cooking equipment are in good working condition: stoves, burners, grillers, exhaust machines
• Ensure cooking utensils and tools are complete and in good working condition
• Ensure cooking equipment and utensils are used properly to prevent damage and improve efficiency
• Report damages or repairs needed on equipment, exhaust, plumbing, gas and electrical operations
• Perform minor repairs of broken tiles, burners, minor painting, changing of fan belts, and similar minor repair works
