We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Cook or Chef to join our vibrant culinary team! Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of homemade ishes such as steak pie shepherd's pie, lasagna, smached burgers , sunday roasts, e.t.c. acording to established recipes and presentation standards
• Ensure all food is prepared safely, maintaining strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene practices
• Assist in meal planning, portioning, and ingredient selection to optimize quality and efficiency
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
• Collaborate with team members to deliver timely service during busy periods
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Serve finished dishes with attention to presentation, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within a restaurant or similar setting
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques
• Ability to work well as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude
• Prior experience in meal preparation and serving is highly desirable
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: From £13.00 per hour
