COOK - PART TIME

Overview

We are looking for a dependable, motivated and hardworking part-time Cook on weekends (shifts: 7:00am-3:00pm and occasional 4:00pm-9:00pm and flexibility to work additional shifts as needed), where your passion for food and dedication to quality will shine! In this role, you will fill in for vacations, sick, and other staffing needs and be instrumental in preparing delicious, nutritious meals that meet high standards of food safety and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner meals as scheduled. Ensure dinner is prepared and ready for evening staff.
• Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary kitchen. Wash dishes, sweep, mop and complete daily cleaning duties.
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently and independently.

Qualifications

• Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision, dependable, organized, and able to mutli-task.
• Takes pride in preparing quality, home-cooked meals. Willing to assist wherever needed.
• Experience working with or assisting elderly residents is a plus, but not required.
• Takes initiative, has a strong work ethic and enjoys being part of a caring, team-oriented environment.
