Cook/Cashier

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and dietary requirements
• Ensure food quality and presentation meet the standards of the restaurant or dietary department
• Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or dietary department is preferred
• Knowledge of culinary techniques and food industry standards
• Proficiency in food preparation techniques, including knife skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
