Job Description: Household Cook (Emirati Cuisine Specialist)

Position: Full-Time Cook

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced and talented Household Cook who is skilled in preparing traditional Emirati dishes and a variety of Middle Eastern foods. The cook will prepare daily meals for the Al Marzooki family, maintain kitchen hygiene, plan menus, and ensure high-quality, authentic Emirati flavors.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare authentic Emirati dishes such as Harees, Machboos, Madrooba, Luqaimat, Thareed, and other local specialties.
• Cook daily breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks as requested by the family.
• Plan weekly menus based on family preferences, dietary needs, and seasonal ingredients.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
• Manage grocery shopping, ingredient inventory, and food storage.
• Prepare dishes for family events, guests, and special occasions.
• Maintain hygiene and follow safe food-handling practices at all times.
• Adapt recipes and create healthy meal options as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a cook, preferably in Emirati households or Gulf-region families.
• Strong knowledge of traditional Emirati cuisine and Middle Eastern cooking techniques.
• Ability to follow family preferences and maintain consistent taste and quality.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to prepare meals for small and large groups.
• Professional, trustworthy, and respectful of household privacy.
• Flexibility to work during weekends or special events when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in private family homes Advantage
• Knowledge of international cuisines (optional but beneficial).
• Ability to communicate in English or Arabic.
