Cook/Chef

Overview
We are currently looking to add a team member to our kitchen production team. The ideal candidate should have a culinary background, and a passion for food. We make new fresh meals daily, have a growing bakery selection, as well as an ice cream program. Lots of room for creativity and growth in a fun, relaxed environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of food. Salads, soups, hot meals, ice cream, baked goods.
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety and handling procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
• Work closely with the team to develop new and exciting recipes regularly
• Oversee food inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimize waste
• Ensure cleanliness of the kitchen area through regular cleaning routines and proper sanitation practices
• Support the deli clerks in serving customers as needed during busy times.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings with a strong understanding of kitchen operations
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences

Pay: $22.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
