Cook/Chef

IGA Ravenswood is looking for an experienced Cook / Chef to join our team.

We are looking for someone who can prepare fresh, tasty food for our customers, including burgers, pizzas, breakfast items, hot meals and ready-to-go meals.

Main Duties

• Preparing and cooking burgers, pizzas and hot meals
• Preparing breakfast menu items
• Making fresh ready-to-go meals
• Food preparation and portioning
• Helping develop new menu ideas and specials
• Maintaining food quality and presentation
• Keeping the kitchen clean and organised
• Following food safety and hygiene requirements
• Managing ingredients and reducing food wastage

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a cook, chef or in a commercial kitchen
• Confident preparing a variety of foods
• Good understanding of food safety and hygiene
• Able to work independently
• Reliable, organised and able to work in a busy environment
• Flexible availability, including weekends

Hours and employment type can be discussed depending on experience and availability.
