COOK/CHEF

Our family-owned business with family values offers multiple full time permanent positions for Chefs/Cooks for a 40hr working week with any overtime paid.

Competitive Salary + Super/per An. Paid Weekly, with room for growth.

Chefs duties will include:

• Planning menus and Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation

• Establishing food and labor costs

• Ordering food supplies

• Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff

• Enforcing hygiene regulations

• Select and train staff

Cooks duties will include:

• Food preparation and sanitation
• Cooking according to exact recipes and standards
• Seasoning and portioning food
• Proficiency with using cooking tools and equipment

The skills (qualification) or experience required for the position

• Certificate 4 in Commercial Cookery with minimum 2 years of experience in a fast paced kitchen
• Ability to work weekends, public holidays and nights
• Team player essential
