Cook/Chef

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and produce all menu items to a high standard
• Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, hygiene and food safety
• Ensure the quality and consistency of all food prepared
• Assist the Head Chef with ideas and suggestions to improve kitchen operations, customer satisfaction and overall business performance
• Daily stock rotation, FIFO and stock control
• Follow all kitchen procedures, recipes and food safety requirements
• Work effectively as part of the kitchen team

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience for chef positions
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong sense of responsibility and good work ethic
• Reliable and punctual
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Willingness to learn and develop across different kitchen sections

Full-time hours available for suitable candidates.

SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Sponsorship may be considered for suitable long-term employees who meet our company performance and eligibility requirements.

Employees may enter our formal Sponsorship Performance Assessment Program after 12 months of continuous employment.

Pay: $33.00 – $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 50.0 per week
