Cook/Chef

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Cook/Chef to join a hospitality establishment in Idokpa, along Benin–Auchi Road. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing quality meals, maintaining high food hygiene standards, managing kitchen supplies, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to the establishment’s menu and quality standards.
• Plan and organize food preparation to ensure timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, cooking equipment, and work areas.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of food items to maintain freshness and prevent waste.
• Monitor kitchen ingredients and report items that need replenishment.
• Ensure meals are properly presented and meet expected quality standards.
• Follow food safety guidelines and maintain sanitary cooking practices.
• Monitor portion sizes and minimize food wastage.
• Ensure kitchen equipment and utensils are properly maintained.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements and Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in the hospitality industry.
• Previous experience working as a Cook or Chef.
• Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen hygiene.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Must be responsible, neat, reliable, and attentive to detail.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Work Schedule

• Shift: 24-hour duty arrangement
• Resumption Time: 8:00 AM
• Closing Time: To be confirmed by management.

Pay: ₦100,000.00 - ₦140,000.00 per month
