Cook – Pubs | Rockhampton, Central Queensland

Location: Rockhampton, Central Queensland

Salary: $60,000 to $70,000 per year + accommodation.

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Cook to join our busy pub operations in Central Queensland.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can work confidently in a fast-paced kitchen, manage multiple tasks at once and take responsibility for the kitchen with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals to a consistent standard.
• Work efficiently during busy hours.
• Prepare ingredients and maintain kitchen organisation.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and hygiene.
• Follow food safety and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized.
• Monitor food stock and minimise wastage.
• Work independently and take responsibility for daily kitchen operations

Food & Cuisine:

Our pubs serve a range of popular Australian pub-style meals.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working as a Cook in a pub, hotel or restaurant.
• Can work quickly and handle a busy kitchen.
• Works well with the kitchen and front-of-house team.
• Can work independently with minimal supervision.
• Takes responsibility for their work.
• Maintains good food quality and hygiene standards.
