The Deck Seafood Restaurant, overlooking the Mooloolah River in Mooloolaba, is a casual dining seafood destination with a growing reputation for serving the freshest seafood straight from local boats. As part of Mooloolah River Fisheries, our team gets a front-row seat to the seafood industry while delivering unforgettable meals to locals and visitors alike.

We're looking for passionate Cooks and Chefs at all levels-full-time, part-time, or casual-to join our team!

What You?ll Do

• Prepare, cook, and plate high-quality seafood and short-order meals
• Maintain stocks, order supplies, and manage kitchen organization
• Clean and sanitize food prep areas, utensils, and equipment
• Work under pressure while delivering consistent, excellent food service

Who You Are

• Experienced in cooking/short-order/fry cooking (1-2 years in hotel/club industry preferred, but not essential)
• Keen to complete an apprenticeship? We welcome you!
• Seafood experience is a bonus
• RSA is advantageous
• Skilled in deep frying
• Available on weekends, public holidays, and evenings
• Knowledge of food safety standards
• Reliable, punctual, well-presented, and able to work independently
