Cook/Cleaner

We are looking for someone to cook and clean in an office in home environment.

Hours will be Monday - Friday. Hours will be from 8 AM until after Lunch is cleaned up after. Typically lunch is around noon. If there is meal prep it may be longer, but we can work with a set cut off if a person needs that. We would need a guarantee of until 1 PM.

We typically only close for major holidays. We can usually be a bit flexible on schedule with enough advance notice.

Duties include:

• Cooking breakfast and Lunch for 1-5 people.
• Meal prep for weekends, and possibly for dinners and snacks.
• Basic daily household cleaning such as vacuuming, mopping, laundry, dishes, bathroom cleaning, making beds, changing sheets.
• Cleaning a step in tub, including seals and jets (We have a routine and method)
• Some physical shopping may be needed (Though we typically do grocery pickup orders).
• Picking up curbside grocery orders when appropriate (Weekly, usually)
• Watering plants

We need someone who can be flexible about dietary restrictions that change sometimes mid-week. While we try to maintain a menu, that is sometimes changed based on various factors. Please read the ad in its entirety before applying.

We are looking for an experienced cook, but they don't necessarily need to be professional. The difference between a dice, chop, and slice, and the ability to carry that out with a decent precision matter more than knowing the difference between a reverse seer and a regular seer, or how to flambe something. If you don't cook often, and aren't confident in your ability to cook, this may be a struggle for you, and won't be a great fit.

We need someone who can take direction, correction, and alterations well without taking it personally, as this is a very personal job so until everyone gets to know how we all communicate and preferences, you'll hear a lot about those preferences and needs.

Our office that operates in the same building can get quite busy during out peak season, so we are attempting to get someone in before we hit that season and get them comfortable with the flow before things get stressful in the office.

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week

Experience:

• personal or professional cooking: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
