Cook/Customer Service

Overview
This position requires a cook with minimum 5 years of real cooking from a scratch kitchen and customer service experience also a must. Here at Mamacita we make everything in house. This ideal new cook will look after the day to day operations from cooking menu items, keeping up with the hot grab and go specials, dealing with customers coming into the store, helping to fill order for our retail and wholesale customers all while we are also doing the prep and production for our airport location. This location is only open 5 days a week so you will always have Sunday/Mondays off and closed latest at 8pm.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to food preparation and handling.
• Assist customers with meal preparation questions and offer guidance on food safety practices.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of our menu offerings and kitchen operations to effectively assist customers.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure customer satisfaction regarding food quality and service.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and efficiently, ensuring a positive experience.
• Keep accurate records of customer interactions and feedback for continuous improvement.

Experience

• Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within the food industry or restaurant setting.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
• A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help others in a busy environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
