Job Summary
AKIMORI seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cook/Dishwasher to join our back of house team. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and hospitality, with experience in food preparation and cleaning. You will play a vital role in preparing delicious meals while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Keep Restrooms and Trash areas clean.
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
• Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and mixing ingredients.
• Ensure all food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Perform bussing duties by clearing tables and maintaining a tidy dining area.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
• Culinary experience is a plus.
• Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail to maintain high sanitation standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on providing outstanding hospitality service.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
