Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Cookie Decorator to join our family-owned bakery. In this role, you will bring creative visions to life by designing and decorating sugar cookies that delight our customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where quality and presentation are paramount. Hours: Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday

Responsibilities

• Decorate cookies using royal icing and vanilla flow icing techniques
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food handling and safety regulations
• Follow ticket orders and designs, bringing creativity to make each cookie order special
• Follow all food safety protocols during food handling, decoration, and packaging to ensure hygiene and compliance with industry standards

Experience

• Proven experience in cookie decorating, within a bakery, restaurant, or food service environment
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures in the food industry
• Familiarity with culinary tools such as piping bags, spatulas, and decorating tips
• Experience working under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Customer service experience that demonstrates effective communication skills and a friendly approach
