We’re looking for a dependable team member to join our cookie department. Your primary responsibility will be operating our cookie dough cutting equipment while monitoring product quality throughout production. This includes test-baking dough from every batch to confirm that each product meets our quality standards.

You’ll also have the opportunity to learn additional positions, including mixer operation and product packaging.

Food safety is an essential part of this position. Our cookie department completes a full washdown and sanitation process every day to help prevent allergen cross-contact and maintain our high food-safety standards. All cookie-department employees are responsible for the daily cleaning and sanitation process of their areas.

No bakery or food-manufacturing experience is required. We provide paid, hands-on training for dependable people who are eager to learn and interested in building a long-term career.

What You’ll Do

Your primary responsibility will be operating a cookie dough cutting machine while monitoring product quality and helping the department meet its daily production and sanitation goals.

Responsibilities include:

• Setting up and operating cookie dough cutting equipment
• Monitoring the machine and making adjustments during production
• Inspecting cookie dough pieces for proper size, shape, weight, and quality
• Test-baking cookie dough from each batch during production
• Evaluating test-baked cookies for appearance, size, spread, texture, and overall quality
• Communicating quality concerns and making or supporting production adjustments as needed
• Completing product changeovers
• Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and area according to established food-safety procedures
• Following allergen-control procedures to help prevent cross-contact between products
• Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized production area
• Following all food-safety, quality, sanitation, and employee-safety requirements
• Learning additional cookie-department positions, including mixer operation and product packaging
• Working with teammates to meet daily production and sanitation goals

Machine-operating, sanitation, bakery, food-production, or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required.

Physical Requirements

This is an active production and sanitation position that includes:

• Standing and walking throughout the shift
• Frequent lifting and moving of 30-pound boxes
• Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
• Repetitive bending, twisting, reaching, and handling materials
• Working safely around production and sanitation equipment
• Participating in daily wet washdown and sanitation activities

Monday–Friday | 4:00 AM–12:00 PM

This position offers a consistent weekday schedule with paid breaks and no regularly scheduled afternoon, evening, or weekend shifts.

• This is an active position, you will be on your feet for the duration of the shift and must be capable of lifting, bending and twisting throughout the shift. You will routinely lift and move 30 pound boxes of product and lift up to 50 pounds in certain scenarios. Does this work for you?
