Cooking Instructor / Personal Chef – Part-Time

Pay: $30 per hour, depending on experience
Typical Sessions: Approximately 3- 4 hours
Location: Clients’ homes in Vista and surrounding areas

This is a W-2 position.

Recipes and menus are provided and must be followed as written. Reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare healthy, high-quality meals for clients in their homes.
• Follow all recipes and meal plans provided by the Executive Chef Supervisor.
• Grocery shop for ingredients needed for each cooking session when necessary.
• Cook alongside clients and encourage hands-on participation when appropriate.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and thoroughly clean the kitchen after each session.
• Communicate professionally with chef management regarding scheduled sessions, client needs, and any issues that arise.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 10 years of solid Chef experience in the Culinary industry
• Professional cooking, meal-prep, culinary, restaurant, or strong home-cooking experience.
• Ability to accurately follow established recipes and preparation instructions.
• Comfortable cooking independently in clients’ homes.
• Patient, professional, and encouraging when working alongside clients.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to consistently show up for scheduled appointments.
• Reliable transportation for grocery shopping and travel to client homes.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to cleanliness and food safety.
