Cook/Kitchen Assistant

Job Overview

Duties

• Prepare and cook a diverse range of meals according to established recipes and menu specifications.
• Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment.
• Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients as required.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow during busy periods.

Experience

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential, preferably within a restaurant setting.
• Demonstrated skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal presentation.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is highly desirable.
