Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and assist with meal assembly to support efficient kitchen operations
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
• Assist with food handling, storage, and rotation to ensure freshness and safety
• Support cooking tasks under supervision, including basic food preparation and plating
• Help with dishwashing, cleaning of kitchen areas, and waste disposal to uphold hygiene standards
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for order processing and cash handling when required
• Provide friendly guest services by assisting servers or taking simple customer orders in some settings

Skills

• Previous food service experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
• Strong understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards
• Experience with food preparation, cooking, and basic meal assembly
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar cash register technology
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interactions
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
• Hospitality background or hotel experience is a plus, especially in guest-facing roles like serving or barista work
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Willingness to learn new skills related to food handling, meal prep, and kitchen operations
