Duties

• Assist with food preparation by chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients to support chefs during busy service times
• Support cooking activities by following recipes and kitchen standards to ensure consistent quality
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations diligently to uphold health standards
• Help with meal assembly and plating to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to keep the kitchen well-equipped for daily operations
• Support serving staff by preparing takeaway orders or assisting with food presentation when required

Experience

• Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for motivated candidates
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
• Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices in a commercial kitchen setting
• Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality environment is advantageous
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards learning and collaboration
