Cook/Kitchen Hand

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Cook for our plant canteen. The candidate will be responsible for preparing fresh, hygienic, and quality meals for plant employees and maintaining proper cleanliness and food safety standards in the canteen kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks as per the canteen schedule.
• Cook Indian meals, including dal, rice, roti, sabzi, and other food items.
• Prepare food in bulk for plant employees.
• Maintain food quality, taste, and hygiene standards.
• Ensure proper cleaning of the kitchen, utensils, and cooking equipment.
• Manage food ingredients and minimize food wastage.
• Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines.
• Coordinate with canteen staff to ensure timely meal service.
• Maintain proper storage of raw materials and cooked food.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Cook in an industrial canteen, factory, hotel, or commercial kitchen is preferred.
• Good knowledge of Indian cooking and bulk food preparation.
• Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety.
• Ability to work in a plant canteen environment.
• Must be punctual, hardworking, and responsible.
