Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients for daily meals
• Support cooking activities by following recipes and instructions from senior kitchen staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, utensils, and equipment
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times
• Help with meal assembly and serving to ensure timely delivery of orders
• Assist in receiving, storing, and rotating stock to minimize waste and maintain freshness
• Support the team during busy service periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks

Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; a strong willingness to learn is key
• Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
• Understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings if required
• A genuine interest in culinary arts and serving others

Pay: £9.75-£15.50 per hour
