Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing dishes and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards, including techniques such as poaching, braising, grilling, and food preparation.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives, grills, ovens, and other culinary tools.
• Follow food safety sanitizing procedures rigorously to ensure a hygienic environment and compliance with health regulations.
• Support dietary department needs by understanding dietary restrictions and assisting in meal preparation tailored to specific dietary requirements.
• Participate in high-volume food production while maintaining consistency, portion control, and presentation standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods and assist with food handling duties across the restaurant or facility.

Skills

• Familiarity with food safety sanitizing procedures and proper food handling practices.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
• Must have food handlers or be willing to obtain it.

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
