Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide range of menu items according to established recipes and standards
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety protocols
• Serve food promptly and courteously to guests or team members in a timely manner
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene at all times
• Support the team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple orders and tasks
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and maintained properly

Requirements

• Previous food service or restaurant experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and food safety standards
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong attention to detail when handling food and maintaining cleanliness
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude in a team environment
• Basic understanding of serving procedures and customer service principles
• Food handling certification or willingness to obtain one upon hire is advantageous
