Coordinator

About the role

To assist Production Engineering Manager in coordinating and executing administrative and transactional activities for the Production Engineering Department, and be responsible for the oversight of these activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manages all schedules of Production Engineers in field of all regions
• Sets inspection dates and times with factories and third parties
• Gathers, files and reviews Order Status Reports (or WIPs), and from that advises leaders of local operations of upcoming orders and factory allocation in order to plan inspections and manpower
• Monitors the compliance of local operations against SOPs, standard processes and requirements of the Production Engineering Department, and The Cato Corporation
• Cross-checks expenses reports against inspection schedules
• Consolidates and compiles KPI reports, and calls out any significant finding
• Maintains all documents, records and information of the Department in order
• Assists in tasks as instructed by the Company

About you

• University/College or equivalent education
• 3+ years in similar position from companies with sizeable/regional operations
• Experienced in the operation in QA/Tech Department
• Possessed knowledge of quality processes in manufacturing
• Proficient in MS Office and other textile/supply chain related software, especially data analytical functions on MS Excel or equivalent program
• Effective communication, especially in written English
• Multi-tasking
• Organized and detail oriented
• Able to accomplish complex task independently under tight deadlines or urgency
• Analytical and sensitive to numbers
• Sensitive to confidentiality information
