POSITION INFO:
Shipping Coordinator
The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing all inbound and outbound shipments to ensure the timely, accurate, and cost-effective movement of materials and finished goods.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments.
- Prepare and process shipping documentation.
- Schedule shipments with carriers and ensure on-time deliveries.
- Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records in SAP.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in shipping and receiving operations.
- Experience coordinating inbound and outbound logistics in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred.
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
TRAINING AND SKILLS:
- Forklift certification required.
- Working knowledge of SAP.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
