REPORTS TO:

Principal

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Provides student administrative process coordination to the principal, teachers, parents and students, ensuring IB requirements are being met.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Educational Level:

Master's Degree in job related field

2. Certification/License:

Must hold or meet criteria to obtain Georgia clear renewable Early Childhood P-5 teacher certification. Master’s level certification (T5) preferred

3. Experience:

Must have five years of successful classroom teaching experience

4. Physical Activities:

Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities

5. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Written and oral communication, organization

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Must be familiar with, and able to promote an understanding of the IB Primary Years Programme
• Ability to effectively communicate and work with teacher teams in the development and review of curriculum documents
• Ability to develop and implement a plan for weekly staff development pertaining to the overall school program and direct staff to appropriate offerings from IB International.
• This position communicates and works with IB International as the school liaison, ensuring IB requirements are being met
• Oversees documentation of Georgia Charter Schools
• Communicates with the GA Charter School Commission on required documentation
• Works with administration on other projects as assigned.
